Welcome to the AFP Ozarks Region Chapter

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is the leading international association for fundraising professionals. Founded in 1960, the national organization of AFP serves more than 30,000 members in 227 chapters located throughout Canada, Mexico and the United States.

The Ozarks Region Chapter was founded in 2003 to meet local demand for an ethical fundraising professional organization with access to national fundraising resources.

Join over 80 AFP members, who meet the second Tuesday of each month. Members and non-members are encouraged to attend our meetings and events.

The Senior Associate Director of Development is responsible for managing a portfolio of individual gift prospects, and identifying and qualifying new prospects. Emphasis for the position is on a pool of prospects who are based in St. Louis and who may be planned giving candidates. Medium and long term goals are to identify and qualify new prospects and engage planned gift officers to promote estate and planned giving to the School of Engineering & Applied Science. Geographic focus is on the St. Louis region and other major cities as needed. The Senior Associate Director of Development reports directly to the Senior Director of Development, Engineering, and serves as a key leader within the department. The Senior Associate Director of Development assists with projects including Engineering Distinguished Alumni Awards, planning and implementation of new facilities fundraising, identification and staffing of members of Engineering National Council, strategic analysis and campaign planning. Senior Associate Director of Development provides assistance and leadership for the team to promote and solicit prospects for planned gifts. The Associate Director of Development is responsible for providing fundraising leadership and direction with alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and development colleagues. Responsibilities include coordinating Engineering Annual Fund and Engineering Eliot Society fundraising programs, and developing and maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm between the alumni and volunteer support groups.
